1931 Ford Model “A” Tudor (2-Door) Sedan
$27,900
Unrestored original with only 5,690 miles. Three owners from new. Original female owner bought it new in Iowa and added a heater because of the weather there. She drove it sparingly until 1947 when Sidney Strong, a Ford dealer in Atwater, Minnesota, bought it from her for $800, which was a lot for a Model A at that time. At that time, the car only has 3000 miles on it. Mr. Strong kept it in his collection for 40 years and then sold it to Mr. Claude Taylor of Asheville, NC in 1988. During Mr. Taylor’s ownership the car earned AACA Grand National HPOF (Historical Preservation of Original Features) at Hershey and MARC of Original Awards. Car still retains mostly original Chicle & Copra Drab factory paint, original interior, running boards, top, and spare tire. The original engine has never been overhauled. We acquired it from Mr. Taylor’s estate after his passing in 2021 and it has been on display in our building since then.
Car starts, runs, and drives like a brand new Model A. It is amazing how the original door close and open. This is a car that you just do not find. “They are only original once” according to Tom Mack.
