1931 Ford DeLuxe 2-Door Phaeton

$29,900

Of the almost 5 million Model A’s produced between 1928 and 1931, only 2,229 top-of-the-line Deluxe phaetons were reportedly built.   According to publication on the internet: “The DeLuxe Phaeton probably came closest to representing all the fine qualities of a custom car.  This addition to the Ford passenger car line was distinguished by its low, rakish lines, high sides, low seats, and a decided sport treatment throughout.”

This example was recently purchased from a Maine collector who used the car for summer cruising in that state.  He recently had the engine rebuilt, and it runs and drives fine.  Period accessories include dual side mounts with whitewall tires, radiator stone guard, “flying quail” radiator cap, marble shifter knob, running board step plates, and trunk.  Safety upgrades include turn signals and temperature gauge.  This all-steel Model A is correctly finished in Brewster Green Medium with black fenders and Apple Green wheels and pinstripe.

You hardly find these in driver-quality condition.  Most are restored prize winners and out of most folks’ budget.  On the other side of the coin, there are the ones that need total restoration.  This rare A is very driver-quality.  Drive, tour, and enjoy as is, or restore to be a #1, your choice.  Great value at

$29,900.  Delivery & financing arranged.  Quality Model “A” trades considered.
