#362 - 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Convertible

Splendid restoration commissioned by Ester Price Candy Company in Dayton, Ohio for their private Museum.  Later sold and shown some by the purchasing enthusiast and those trophy’s go with the purchase of this show-quality Corsa. Gorgeous Maderia Maroon finish with restored white bucket seat interior and a white convertible top. Power is supplied by a 4-carburator 164 ci six cylinder developing 140 Horsepower and fed through a 4-speed manual transmission.

The Corsa package also includes an upscale interior, instrumentation and tachometer, sport suspension, larger brakes, and quicker steering. This is one of reportedly only 8,353 Corsa Convertibles produced in ’65. Additional accessories ordered on this beauty include the wood 2-spoke steering wheel on a telescoping column, tinted windshield, front & rear bumper guards, radio, and dual rear-view mirrors.  Polished American wheels give it the real ’60’s look.

This car has been sorted out and is ready to enjoy by the lucky bidder and will be sold at Tom Mack’s Mountaineer Auction on June 13 in Fletcher, NC and not available before then.
